Customer background

Banas Stones Inc is a stone processing company based in Bolton, Ontario, Canada.

02

What mattered to the buyer

In March 2024, Banas Stones inquired through VICHOR's website. The work discussed included tile, granite and 45° miter cuts. The team also asked about water consumption, abrasive consumption, sludge handling, the local power supply and software operation. Before ordering, they wanted to see a machine already in use.

03

Why VICHOR

  • Seeing a machine in use first. Banas Stones visited an existing customer in Toronto to see a VICHOR waterjet in use.
  • After-sales support mattered. During the selection process, the customer wrote:

“The main reason to go with you is the after sales support that we will be getting from your organization, which will be pertinent to our operation.”

What this case shows

For a Canadian stone processor choosing a waterjet, support after the purchase matters alongside the machine itself. Banas Stones first saw a machine in use, then had its own equipment configured for the local power supply and CSA standards, with on-site installation and operator training provided by VICHOR technicians.
