SuperKote Glass Finishes is a glass processor in Ormeau, Queensland, specializing in painted glass splashbacks, toughened glass and decorative architectural glass. It bought its first VICHOR waterjet in 2023, and a second the following year.
Concerns before buying
In August 2023, they wrote to us for the first time:
"My employer has been considering buying 3 new waterjets and was almost ready to place an order, but I showed him your website."

Their questions were about 3-axis versus 5-axis cutting for glass, a stainless steel catcher tank, a tilting table, and how soon we could deliver.
The first machine
The contract was signed in late September 2023. In October, the machine was assembled at our factory, and we sent them photos.
In January 2024, our engineer installed it in Ormeau and trained their operators. In early February, they signed the machine acceptance form.
The second machine
In May 2024, they needed a second machine, urgently. The contract was signed on 10 May, and we moved it up our production schedule.
Our standard lead time is 30 working days, from payment to a finished machine that has passed commissioning and acceptance testing. This one was built and tested 10 days after the contract was signed. We sent photos for their approval, and it shipped from Shanghai on 30 May. In July, our engineer returned to install it.
